Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between an Open Edition and a Limited Edition?

The key difference lies in exclusivity and availability. A Limited Edition is produced in a strictly defined number of copies, each numbered and signed, and will no longer be available once sold out. An Open Edition has no such restriction and remains available indefinitely, making it a great option for those who simply want to enjoy a beautiful image in their home or office.

Can I order the prints with a frame?

Yes, our Open Editions & Limited Editions can be framed or mounted on dibond. Interested? Feel free to contact us at pr****@***************el.com to talk through your ideas and preferences.

What paper are the prints produced on?

Hahnemühle German Etching – Fine Art with texture

Hahnemühle German Etching is a traditional copperplate intaglio paper, manufactured on a cylinder mould machine and coated with an inkjet coating specially developed for Fine Art applications. This white artist paper, made from 100% alpha-cellulose, is characterised by an exceptionally velvety soft texture and a fine, clearly defined felt structure.

The unique surface texture lends images a truly distinctive accent, presenting them in their full glory with an impressive three-dimensional effect and tremendous depth. The premium matte inkjet coating guarantees outstanding print results with excellent colour and detail reproduction, deep black tones and optimal contrast.

All prints are coated with a protective varnish/spray to guarantee archival properties and resistance to ageing of more than 100 years.

How long do the colours last?

Thanks to the premium inkjet coating of the Hahnemühle German Etching paper and the use of high-quality inks, the prints are designed to last for decades without fading — provided they are displayed and stored correctly.
