The idea is simple: you travel literally from photo to photo. Every image becomes your next destination and leads you to a new place. Pebble is for people who don’t mind taking a wrong turn if it means discovering something unexpected. It is a creative way of travelling — intuitive, image-driven and open to surprise.
who is
Josien is a professional photographer with a fascination for travel photography. Her images tell stories and have been recognised with photography awards on multiple occasions. Twan is a drone pilot with a strong sense of perspective and a sharp photographic eye — he can tell in an instant whether an image is powerful or not.
We have been travelling the Pebble way for years. With our Land Rovers, cameras and drone we head out without a rigid schedule. We follow the light, turn off where things get interesting, stay longer when a place feels right. Sometimes that is a deserted beach, sometimes a beautiful village. We photograph what moves us — and often those very images turn out to be the start of a new route.
