What paper are the prints produced on?
Hahnemühle German Etching – Fine Art with texture
Hahnemühle German Etching is a traditional copperplate intaglio paper, manufactured on a cylinder mould machine and coated with an inkjet coating specially developed for Fine Art applications. This white artist paper, made from 100% alpha-cellulose, is characterised by an exceptionally velvety soft texture and a fine, clearly defined felt structure.
The unique surface texture lends images a truly distinctive accent, presenting them in their full glory with an impressive three-dimensional effect and tremendous depth. The premium matte inkjet coating guarantees outstanding print results with excellent colour and detail reproduction, deep black tones and optimal contrast.
All prints are coated with a protective varnish/spray to guarantee archival properties and resistance to ageing of more than 100 years.
What does lay-flat mean?
Lay-flat means that when the book is opened, the pages lie completely flat without any curvature or gutter shadow. This ensures that images spread across two pages are displayed seamlessly and without distortion, allowing you to fully appreciate every photograph.
